The day that Sam learned that not every kid had a mom or dad to hold them close, tuck them into bed or climb a mountain with them, he didn’t like that—and wanted to do something about it.
That is why Sam is partnering with organizations like America’s Kids Belong, a 501(c)3 that mobilizes state governments, faith-based businesses and creative leaders to provide permanency and belonging for every child. America’s Kids Belong runs innovative initiatives that recruit foster and adoptive families, engage support for at-risk, foster and adoptive families, and help youth who have aged out without a family reach their full potential. With this partnership, Sam loves that his climbs are helping kids not be so sad and lonely anymore. It makes each climb that much more exciting.
